Day 3 & 4-Send Those Nasty Cold Bugs A Message~

"Garlic" gets a bad rap in many ways...but, when it comes to the benefits it offers for cold/flu protection it's right up there with the best options.

Garlic contains allicin, alliin, and sulfides, compounds that increase immune-system activity.

Garlic is delicious and very potent in its raw form if it is fresh...when it has a bitter taste that means it is stale and should be thrown away or into the compost bin.

Sauteed lightly in a good Olive oil and blended into any salad fixing is a great way to get your daily dose.

If you are concerned about "garlic" breath...just chew a little parsley or thyme...works like a charm.

If you don't eat garlic then opt for the supplements....take 320 mg of garlic with a minimum of 3.4 percent alliin one to two times daily.

~

Not a " Tea" drinker ? Well, you are missing out on a lovely way to support and build your immune system.

Tea contains L-theanine, a compound that primes the immune system's response to bacteria and viruses.

Jasmine is a wonderful all around tea for every taste.
Add some of many varieties and try them all to find a few that you love...then make them a regular part of your day.

I invite you to visit our website and look at the tea choices there.

I can also blend any combination you want. Just ask~

Merry Christmas to All and will see you on Saturday~

Love garlic! I use it in almost everything I cook daily.

Yes, they are missing out if they don't drink tea..especially your teas :-)

I will be placing another order after the first of the year.

Wishing you and Sage Hill Farms a Happy New Year!

Debbie, I wouldn't know how to start without the garlic and onion.

Do you know that when you have a cold you can slice a garlic and rub it on the soles of the feet for a faster recovery time.

My garlic bed is resting peacefully and hopefully come late spring/early summer we will have yummy abundance.

Remind me and I'll send you some fresh.

To good health and a happy heart~for the new year coming~
